Doom 3

A game that involves you, guns, enemies and darkness.
Doom 3 is a good game the first time you play it, scary in places, funny in others and generally good fun. Sadly it does have a few limitations in terms of linearity and depth, but you dont play a doom game for either of those, do you? SO PICK UP THAT GUN AND START SHOOTING MARINE!!
The great thing about D3 was that you could either see, or shoot. Ofc this got modded right away due to people winging.
The not so great thing was that you could tell miles in advance whenever a scripted event was about to happen, but even that has it's charms.
