Guild of Master Brewers

The Guild of Master Brewers is an Alliance guild on Trollbane (formerly Bloodscalp) that was formed on the release day of World of Warcraft in Europe. It was originally comprised of members of two Planetside outfits - BarrysSquad and Fight Club - who had played alongside each other in the open beta.

Across the world, the members soon became infamous for their incessant spamming, nonsensical rants, love of goats and borderline alcoholism. It is rumoured that if you listen very carefully in Ironforge, you can still hear the voice of a Dwarf yelling "ARE YOU LOOKING AT MY FUCKING PINT?".

The guild's membership soon began to swell as players from BarrysWorld, other Planetside outfits and various people we met along the way joined the ranks. However, many of the guild's original founding members, the vast majority of whom were ex-BarrysSquad or BarrysWorld regulars chose to leave and form their own guild The Lost Exiles whilst a small number remained in the Guild of Master Brewers.

As time passed the guild progressed from a casual group of players having fun to a more serious raiding guild and subsequently cleared Onyxia's Lair, Molten Core and Zul'Gurub. Nowadays, the guild presides under the leadership of Malkar and are now known as simply Master Brewers.
