So you want pics eh?

Before we go there, some ground rules:

• You want your Freddyshouse avatar in your user page? Sure, but hold to the FH standard of 80x80 pixels please!
• Please keep the size of your uploads reasonable! The wiki will do this for you, but you know what I mean!
• Don't upload idiocy. Again, you know what I mean. Tripe will be deleted by the sysops.

Uploading

Before your pic's in the wiki, you'll have to upload it. You can do that from the Upload File link in the toolbox. It's fairly straight forward. Remember to name your upload something short and easy to remember, cos that's handy.

Success?

An upload that worked will take you to a page much like this one containing your upload and some handy and informative things. In this example it's a jpeg file of Wij's ugly mug. You can now embed this upload in an article of your own very much like you can with a link.

[[Image:Wij.jpg]]

will result in the the image being embedded somewhere in your article.

The following will float your image either left or right in your article, which is generally handy.

 [[Image:Wij.jpg|left]]
 [[Image:Wij.jpg|right]]

You can upload and embed lots of different things, but the wiki doesn't recognize every different filetype there is. Talk to TdC if you need something.
