Indeed, NDS rocked, especially once you could hook unix servers into it. It doesn't rock when the company you're working for has over a thousand Netware servers on 4MBit Token Ring and the network is growing beyond the scaling possibilities built in by the designers :-(

Not NDS limitations :p

No, not NDS limits, but we started getting all kinds of shit like time sync failing, NDS partitions becoming out of sync / strange states and other wierdness I can't (don't) want to remember. It's all gone now, but at the time it was amazing to work with.
