QuakeNet

QuakeNet is a predominantly European IRC network which hosts a large number of gaming related channels, including the FreddysHouse IRC Channel (and its BarrysWorld predecessor), clan channels, league channels and dedicated game channels. It is the largest IRC network on the planet and is known to be a supporter of the free bodhi movement.

Quakenet operates an authentication bot named Q who you must be registered and authorised with to join the FreddysHouse and many other channels. Has splits more regularly than Linford Christies underwear.

It's believed that a BarrysWorld and FreddysHouse member by the name of Zarjazz has something to do with QuakeNet, but nobody knows for certain what Zarjazz actually does other than turning up at BarryBeers to sponge pints off Ted and Deebs ;-)
