Teh

Teh is one of the results of people typing at unpossible speeds. With fingers moving that fast, you're bound to mess up every now and then. In fact, things like teh occur so often that certain software products like mIRC correct for it automatically.

As usual with things like this, people have become aware of the typo, and it's been incorporated into internetese slang.

What is less well-known is that 'teh' was actually a Saxon word in the 10th and 11th centuries which roughly corresponded to the modern 'the' or 'that' so whilst IRC lam0rz may use the term as though it was 'teh funneh' some of us have a knowing smile and in-joke when we type it.
