A term used when explaining how Tom did in an argument -
"hey Tom did you win that argument about door knobs?"
"no mate it all went tits up"
Can also be used when explaining how Holland generally do in the world cup or any other sporting event. Or when England lost 1-0 to the mighty Northern Ireland on 6 September 2005
Also a greeting in Stoke -
"tits up, you got any smack for me?"
