Ben, I did notice this after a few clicks: bwtheme.jpg Will post more when I'm not half dead :( -TdC 02:16, 13 August 2006 (BST)

Andy: Thanks for that, I'll see what I can come up with to prevent that happening, although I believe it's only ever able to happen on very short pages. I'll see what can be done to tweak that anyway.

In other news, I've tested it in IE6/PC and it's not looking bad at all. There's one problem with the menus being double-height (common IE issue, easily worked around), the transparent PNG isn't working yet (but I'll add a script to handle that) and the top menu isn't quite lined up as I'd like, but it's very close indeed, so pleasing.

Still a number of styles to add/restore with regard to the original theme (I'm missing the CSS to control the tabs in the preferences window) but I'd say it was pretty close to being live-worthy. I'm trying to avoid too much computer usage today as I've a stiff neck, but should able to work on it again tomorrow (a little bit) and maybe get it finished on Tuesday.

I think it's smashing tbh. Get in touch with Deebs once you're ok with it and we can have the populance of the wiki provide feedback.

It does seem to waste a lot of space at the top of the page, purely to fit the big barrysworld logo in. Perhaps just use a smaller one that fits in the left column?

Haha, you should've seen the previous draft (this header has been shrunk vertically quite a bit since using the original (current on this Wiki theme) logo). I can see what you're saying, and I will try a smaller logo tomorrow.

The whitespace is quite important though, just for general clarity I think, and I think there's also a good design gain in having the top of the sidebar align with the top of the content itself. I'm open to persuasion, but that has been view in designing that spacing in. Does that make sense or did I go off on one?

All the same, I will try a shorter logo tomorrow with a smaller globe.

Cheers, Ben. --Shovel 00:59, 15 August 2006 (BST)
