Help:Formatting
Contents
woo! your name here!
Adding your name, incl a link to your personal page is done with the ~ or tilde' key like so: 3 ~~~ will yield your name with built in link to your user page, while 4 will add a timestamp. Right now it's the server's local time though. Not worked out how to get the software to change that as yet.
title stuff and other bolded text
Adding a title will help smashingly with laying out your text. This can be done with the = or 'equals' key like so: 2 == before and after your text will generate a large title with built in 'edit paragraph' link. 3 or 4 = characters again before and after your text will generate smaller titles. Each page with more than three headings will autogenerate a table of contents, unless the magic word __NOTOC__ is used.
linking to internal wiki pages without using their wikiname
format your link like so:
[[WikiNameHere|your own idea here]]
looks like this: your own idea here
lists
you can have the wiki generate lists quite nicely: just begin a new line with an asterix (*). Nested lists are a double asterix (**) etc. etc.
